34 weeks

Another busy week gone by, I am 35 weeks. Here is my picture at 34 weeks.

The belly is out there now, no question I am pregnant :) I had a couple of showers in the last 2 weeks. I want to thank everyone who helped with those and for all the really nice gifts. Ron and I are blessed with really amazing people in our lives. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers also, this is a really exciting time for us. I can't believe it is down to less than a month!!

I had one shower at my mom's house. Here are a couple pictures.

My mom made this really cool diaper palm tree :) I love it!

Here is whats going on with the baby this week

Week 34: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds like your average cantaloupe and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

Less than a month! Holy Cow!! I can't wait to hear the news. Hopefully I can be working one of the days you are there so I can pop up and see the little guy! Good luck with everything! I'm sure everything will be great!
