I was a little short on the posting yesterday, sorry.
Baby is doing well, lungs and heart are strong. He is currently on an IV for low blood sugar but he seems to be doing better. He is also having a hard time keeping food down. He is currently in the "special" nursery, he will stay there until his sugar levels are consistent and he keeps food down. Hopefully he can get off the IV and into our room today.
Heidi is going well; she slept pretty much from surgery until this morning. She was feeling better this morning at about 5am. She hadn't seen the baby yet so the nurses helped her into a wheelchair and we went down to the nursery. Hopefully today Heidi will be up and moving around more.
If anyone would like to come to the hospital please call me first, right now only parents and grandparents are allowed in the nursery and Heidi will probably be sleeping and I know you don’t want to come just to see me.
