Making Progress

Isaac has made a lot of good progress this last week! He smiled for real for Ron, it was the cutest thing I have ever seen! He also lifted up his head during tummy time by himself. It is so exciting to see him growing, he really changes every day. He also has been sleeping 6-8 hours every night, I really forgot how nice it was to get so much sleep! Life is good! I also have 5 more weeks left of my maternity leave, so I am going to enjoy every minute with our little one.
Here is a picture of Isaac and Aaiden looking quite relaxed :), Aaiden is my friend Rachel's little boy. Rachel and I have been friends since she was born and our dad's have been friends since they were 8. Aaiden and Isaac are 2 days apart.

Big Boy! 7 lbs 8 ozs

Isaac is 7 lbs 8 0zs! I took him to the doctor on Friday and the weighed him, he is doing good. He does have a herniated umbilical cord and acid reflux though. The doctor said it should be fine, he is on medicine for the acid reflux and the herniated umbilical cord should go away in 6-8 months, apparently that is normal for preemies. He is sleeping around 4 hours at night between feedings and some nights even longer, which makes mommy really happy. Ron and I are really enjoying being parents, Isaac is such a beautiful little boy and we love watching him change everyday. He celebrated his heritage, his first St. Patricks Day yesterday with my family, it was fun. We ate traditional Irish food and played pool with our new pool table.
